Court acquits three in PKFZ scandal

The Sessions Court here today acquitted and discharged three individuals charged with cheating in the construction of the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) project without calling for their defence.

Accountant: RM25 psf not inclusive of interest

A chartered accountant, appearing on behalf of former transport minister Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik in the latter's cheating trial, told the High Court here today that RM25 psf for the land purchase in the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) project was not inclusive of the 7.5 interest rate.
